The first step in preparing to teach is to prepare your heart to follow God’s call to equip disciples to follow Jesus. Training is a transmission process that God has outlined in his word.

In addition to a process, God has ordained a plan for what he expects the training to accomplish. Preparing the heart requires trainers to follow the process to achieve God’s plan. Only when we are engaged in God’s work according to God’s plan to achieve God’s purpose in God’s way are we able to work for His honor and glory.
