About this Resource List

This resource list serves as a directory of recommended sessions for you to choose from in running your practicum. Your job is to determine which sessions to hold with your group. Use the Alignment Analysis tool that accompanies each session listed below to determine what sessions your team needs to participate in for optimal effectiveness in Bible translation. There are a number of tools available to assist you with this determination as well, such as the Simplified Needs Analysis, Missional Translation Brief, SWOT Analysis and others.

In the following tables, each title links to a Facilitator Guide. To determine if your group needs that session, use the checklists in the Alignment Analysis sections. If your group has more checks in the “What We Would See Negative” column than the “What We Would See Positive” column, then they probably would benefit from participating in that practicum session. Please note that the facilitator guides contain links to other documents you will need to review in order to successfully complete each practicum session.
