Focus of Session: The church not only initiates and sustains Church-Centric Bible Translation, but it also impacts the theological growth of its community through the actual translation process. This session explores possible ways of integrating Bible translation and theological formation, while also providing examples of approaches to the process.

Discovery-based question: How can the process of Bible translation theologically form the Church?
Objective: Participants will elicit background knowledge about Church involvement in Bible translation.
Follow up on the concluding activity from the session “the role of the Church in BT,” or if they have not had the session, introduce the question as a warm-up to the session content:
