Behavior Modeling

Behavior modeling is basic technique used for teaching core skills. These steps apply to nearly every kind of skill training you will conduct.

One of the ways to illustrate these skills for your learners is to have them reflect on the process of teaching someone to ride a bike. Discuss each step of the behavior modeling process in relation to bike-riding and how they apply. This will provide your class with a concrete example of these abstract principles.
