- Ask about who is in charge: Who do you think is most responsible for sharing the good news [fulfilling the Great Commission] and supporting church work, like Bible translation, in your country? What part do local churches and people play in this?
- Ask about local help: Besides money, what other things in your community (like skills, time, land, groups, or businesses) can help your church and Bible translation work? How are you using these things now? What business opportunities have you considered or tried for supporting the church and ministries?
- Ask about your ideas for the future: What does it mean for your church network and its work (including Bible translation) to be strong and able to support itself in your situation? What are the important steps to reach this?"
- Ask about what you are doing now and what is hard: "What has your church network already started doing to become more able to support its own work? What are the main problems or difficulties you face in becoming more independent?
- Ask about working with outside groups: As you become more able to support yourselves, how do you see outside partners helping in a good way, where your church network is leading ('driving the bus')? How can you decide when to ask outside groups to invest in your work?
